The foundations of this world are trembling and almost in every nation on the earth, so many are living in panic.  Jesus has encouraged us over 2000 years ago that in the middle of a troubled world, “Let not your heart be troubled,” and He also said” see that ye be not troubled,” …(John14:1, Matthew 24:6) 

The people of the world are asking, “what are we going to do in these troubled times?” We are going to look to the Lord God to intervene in the midst of the famine like He did for Joseph (Genesis 41-47).  We are going to believe the Lord God to intervene for us like He did for Esther and the Jewish people who were facing annihilation and they fasted for three days and three nights for divine intervention (Esther 1-8). 

Recently our son was sharing a message at his school during chapel service and he said something under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that caught our attention.  He said to the student body: think of anything you need right now.  It doesn’t matter what is going on in your world, the Word of God has an answer for everyone of our situations if anyone of us would truly look to the Word of God.  He was sharing from Psalms 119 that day.

I’m reminded of Philippians 4:19, “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  “What a comparison! all our needs compared to the Lord’s inexhaustible supply of riches in heaven.  Our heavenly Father has revealed to us in His Word that he controls all sources of supply, both the expected and the unexpected.  There’s no need in anyone of us on this planet that can ever exceed God’s abundant supply.  God’s abundant supply is the same even when the world is being shaken up by earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, tornados, etc.  Jesus is still God in the bad times and the good times.  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.

Father God is saying to Christians all over this troubled world, that though there be wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilence and earthquakes in various places, you can still look to the Lord and rejoice for your redemption is drawing near. If we are truly looking unto Jesus who is our strength and our source, we can go through all without fear of things to come, without losing our faith, and without being denied the presence of God, peace of God, the provision of God, the protection of God, and the promotion of God. Father God is going to take care of us far beyond whatever we can think or imagine according to His unlimited miracle working power expressed through the life, death, burial, ressurection, ascension, glorification, and return of the Lord Jesus Christ” …Behold, the Lord comes with thousands of His saints to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of their ungodly deeds….(Jude 1:14-15).    

Thank you for partnering with us. Since our last update we have planted a new church amongst the Zulu people in our community. The opening day was on the 8th of March 2009.  Along with the help of Bishop Rufus Ellappa, the pastoral leadership and congregation of Firm Foundation Community Church we started Sunday Worship Service.  The new congregation that has been established needs your continuous prayers and support.  On March 14th we had the privilege of Baptizing 17 new converts.

The women’s Bible study on tuesday mornings has grown from 20 to about 60 in attendance,  We have trained Zanele, a young widow to lead the Bible study and preach the Word of God to those who are gathering together for the services during the week.  The Saturday children’s feeding program is still growing strong.  We thank God for the volunteers from Firm Foundation C.C. who assist in meeting the needs of over 100 children from the surrounding community.  The name of the Church is Sinakekele which means “Taking good care of us”.

As of the 8th of April my family and I have returned to America, Through much prayer we feel that the Lord has directed us back to this nation for a season.   We have partnered with Graeme Weber Ministries from Durban, South Africa to start a missionary training center in order to take teams overseas for short and long term missions.  The unfolding of this vision will take time and effort along with the support and prayers of those who believe in what we are doing to reach men and women who sense the call of God to be missionaries and who are  willing to depend upon the Holy Spirit for their support in reaching out to the lost and coming alongside us in bringing hope to a people who feel that no one cares about them.

At present we feel an urgent need to educate the Church in America about the dangers of the Jihadist movement and to intercede more than ever for the wisdom of God to sound the alarm and come out of our comfort zone.  This is the time for God’s people to unite with one voice against the religions of force and violence.  Be encouraged as we pray that light will overcome  darkness; love will overcome hatred;
good will overcome evil and that truth and righteousness will prevail.

Your prayers and assistance liberate us and makes it possible for us to fulfill the call of God in our generation.

The Holy Sprit is weaving and we are learning to start cleaving–leaving the old order of things in order to start cleaving to the new order of things in the Holy Spirit. We are not breaking down! We are breaking through and through. Thanks for all your love and prayer support. The Holy Spirit will help each of us to be aggressive mentally, to think about and put into practice His will for our lives and in so doing we here on the mission field and you there on the home field claim in every way the victory of the precious blood of Jesus over all satanic forces in the mighty name of Jesus.

The Spirit of God will deal with my ideas about what real success is in this world we are living in. There comes a season in my life when the people around me begin to disappear, when the commitment of others begin to decrease. During this phase of life we need to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us the difference between our ideas of success and His plan for our lives.

Real success is in the life of Jesus. Apart from Jesus there is no life of success. In order to have the success that is in the life of Jesus, I must be willing to give up what I have held on to as the only way. If I really want the life of Jesus then my life must die. Even the disciples who claimed to love Jesus was ready not to go any further with Jesus when He started to go down the road of losing oneself and finding it only in Jesus. Some of us are truly resisting this kind of life where Jesus says, ” If anyone really want to go further and deeper with Me, then you must understand that this deeper life is only in Me that is in My body and precious blood and in absolutely nothing that this world could ever offer us.” At the end of all the talking am I truly trusting Jesus with full control of my life.

Jesus was crucified and to His disciples it looked like it was all over. For some of us we feel like it’s over but it isn’t over because the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is going to raise us up to follow Jesus where the flesh does not like to follow. Am I going on with Jesus or am I turning back? I love that spiritual song that says, ” I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back–no turning back.” This means dying to the normal way of living, dying to the old order of things in order to live in the new order of things to move forward with Jesus because the hour is late and we are literally running out of time as we move to the consummation of all things.

On this journey with Jesus we will experience times of crucifixions ( death ) but for every crucifixion there will be a resurrection. Holy Spirit help me to live with Jesus by giving up my self-pity, idolatry and control. Help me on a daily basis to examine the foundation of my life to make sure that I am not taking the reins in my hands again, where I am in control, in anxiety and in impatience. With the exception of Judas, eleven disciples let go of their lives and moved on with the life of Jesus accomplishing His will in their lives. They made the right choice to do it God’s way.

The tent was filled and many raised their hands to receive Jesus into their hearts. On the Sunday morning we had a special healing service under the tent. The LORD touched many who were in pain. One woman was blind and the LORD Jesus touch her eyes so that she was able to count the Pastor’s fingers as he raised them up before her. She said, I can see but don’t tell my neighbors. The same God that is healing in crowds of thousands is also healing in crowds of hundreds. To God be the glory!
