RELIGION VS. KINGDOM

THE GREATEST TREAT TO CIVIL SOCIETY IS MANKIND. THE PICTURES ON OUR FLAT SCREEN TELEVISION TELL THE STORY. BLOOD, DEATH, DIPLOMACY, CONFLICT, HATRED, FEAR, POVERTY, STARVATION, RAPE, GENOCIDE, REFUGEES AND HUMAN MIGRATION, NATURAL DISASTERS, DAILY BOMBINGS, ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY, IMMIGRATION, CORPORATE CORRUPTION, MORAL DECAY, SEXUAL REVOLUTION, AND CLASH OF COUNTER CULTURES ALL TESTIFY THAT WE ARE OUR OWN GREATEST ENEMY.

PERHAPS THIS IS THE REASON THE WORDS OF JESUS WERE SO STRONG WHEN HE ADDRESSED THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF HIS DAY WITH THESE WORDS;

MATT. 23:13-15

13″Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the Kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

Matt. 15:6
” Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.”

Matt. 5:20
“For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Matt. 21:31-32
“Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.”

IT WOULD SEEM FROM THESE WORDS THAT ONE OF THE GREATEST OBSTACLES TO THE KINGDOM IS RELIGION.

“Natural Heath Tips”

Herbal Cures: Always check with your physician if taking medication.

PARLEY:
Brew parley in warm water, to treat urinary tract and bladder infection. Parley can also be used as a natural weight loss remedy. Brew a quarter cup of leaves in half cup of water, and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Discontinue use after 5 days. A cup of parley tea a day, will relieve rheumatism, and is excellent for diabetes patients. After 5 days take a 3 day break and then start a new cycle. Parley leaves in a breastfeeding mother’s bra, will dry up her milk supply when she wants to wean her baby. For painful sore breast, bruise parley leaves and soak in vinegar. Parley is rich in iron and treats jaundice, anemia, arthritis and hip gout.

WATERCRESS: Strong natural antibiotic and is rich in vitamin C. Chew leaves for anemia, bad eyesight and rickets. Watercress also promotes blood circulation.
When mixed with honey, watercress makes an effective cough syrup.

Piles patients shouldn’t drink aloe, as it draws extra blood to the large intestine. Acknowledgement of Thanks

Dear Partner:

Praise be to God who always gives us the victory through our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ! I thank God for what He has done in and through our lives. It’s easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget that there are people all over the world who are hurting and need help. We thank God for giving us friends and family who believe in our missionary vision. Your support to this ministry has made it possible for us to touch nations. What is God asking you to do this year (2011)? Remember how Jesus fed 5,000 with just five loaves of bread and two fish. We need to keep in step with God, neither running ahead nor lagging behind. This is why we need people around us, who can pick us up when we feel defeated, and pull us back when we are over-confident. It is His work, not ours. We can change the world together, each doing his part in the Kingdom of God. On behalf of Missionary Pastors Christopher and Joanna Salina, thank you for your faithful support.

2 Corinthians 9: 10 “Now he that ministered seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your rightousness.”

“Pressing Onward For His Kingdom Sake”

As we come to the end of another year we think of God’s goodness and mercy. In spite of the circumstances that have affected people globally we can be thankful that God is still on the throne. Our family has been blessed with health, shelter, clothing, food and most of all the assurance of God’s promises. There has never been a time like now to trust God. In Christ He has given us hope for the future and a blessed assurance that what He has purposed for us will come to pass if we have faith in the finished work of Calvary.

In this New Year of 2011 let us press onward for His Kingdom sake. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added on to you”. We are excited about what God is doing to hasten His return. The bride is making herself ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb. The Lord has given us a passion for missions and we have been able to support the ministry in South Africa, Pakistan and Israel. We give God thanks for the faithful few that have stood with us throughout this year. We pray that God will enable you to continue to support our vision to train missionaries here in the USA and equip them to serve overseas.

The mission work in Durban South Africa needs our help and support to continue to serve the orphans and widows among the Zulu people. Our workers there are doing a great job of teaching and feeding the families in need. Sinakekele the ministry to abandon babies has rescued many children and placed them in loving family homes. We can make a difference one child at a time. Many families have been blessed by the on going efforts of the staff and volunteers that have answered the call of God to serve in God’s vineyard. We have dedicated our lives to fulfilling the great commission.

Much thanks to our beloved friends and family that have made it possible for us to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the nations.

Salina Tribe: May, June, July 2010 Missions Update

“The smallest effort to show God’s love is more than enough”It doesn’t take much to bring hope to those in despair.  With millions in South Africa suffering from HIV/Aids epidemic our mission must go beyond preaching and teaching God’s Word.   We need to show our love to these people that we care about their poverty, sickness and hunger.  Even if we can’t promise to take them out of poverty or heal them from HIV, we can be a friend in the time of need.  Many of them feel totally forsaken by their own family and friends.

In the Zulu culture HIV is still a stigma and many are shunned for having the disease.  When these people see a Westerner take time to visit their one room shack with dirt floors, it is like a King has left his castle to come and sit with them and listen to their concerns. At the end of the day, they really don’t care how much you know but they know how much you care.  To these people one simple act of kindness can make a big difference to a mother dying of Aids who feels forsaken by all.  Many of these mothers must face the unthinkable: that of dying first and leaving their child alone or living long enough to watch her Aids infected child die in her arms. As missionaries we have experienced the realization that the smallest effort to show God’s love in practical ways means so much to someone that lives each day in despair.

As Christians we are the carriers of God’s love in action to the lost and dying world.  These people are willing to share what little they have from their gardens with us. What are we willing to share with them?  Missions is our way of giving back to those who have so much less than you may have.  Church, let us be grateful for what the LORD has given us and may we be willing to share our blessings with others.

As Americans we always have the freedom of getting on a plane and going back to the comfort of our homes.  The people of the impoverished rural areas of KwaZuluNatal, South Africa have no choice but to face their desperate situation every day. The Gospel of Christ makes all the difference.  It brings hope to the hopeless, salvation to the lost and healing to the dying soul. The greatest work you are privileged to do for the Lord is to bring others to a knowledge of Christ as Savior.

Soul-winners will shine as the stars forever ( Daniel 12:3 ). Thank you for partnering with us.
